Exclamation Question about the Evo VII spoiler setup...?

Ill be getting my evo VII spoiler in a few days (thanks leon) . Question is i need to know where to line it up on my trunk ( i have an es). I called my local import perfromance shop and they wanna charge me $100! For putting the spoiler together, lining it up on the trunk, and attaching it to the trunk. I told the guy, im not stupid... i can put the spoiler together, and i can find out exactly where to line it up threw a friend (he acted surprise, that i can do it myself). I just need you to drill or drill and attached, and he charging me now 75-100! Is that right? I heard people pay waaaay less. What it be easier to DIY type installation?

they line exatly to the oz holes, sooo, u can go to the dealer and ask them the dimensons for the oz spoiler holes and work from there. or ask a buddy w/an oz to pop the trunk and compare the holes on the trunk.

good luck and hope that helped

I bought a rubber plug from pep-boys and used touch-up paint to match it to the car.

Depending on the mold the spoiler was made in, it may not line up with the OZ holes. Only 2 holes lined up on mine. When you get the spoiler just put it together and place it on your truck and line it up that way. I say drill the holes yourself.
