Hello everyone, this is my first time posting slash being on this website. But i’d like some guidance, my first car being the 13 Lancer GT has been fun and all. But it’s got its issues burning oil misfiring for a minute after it sat for a week. And the stupid loud exhaust i got when i was 15. Recently i left it sitting due to tire issues and started it up after a couple months of sitting to my unknown self. The vehicle had little to no oil i was driving to the stores in town when i got a low oil pressure light. Immediately pulled over saw barely any oil on the dipstick. And coasted it to the parts store topped the oil off. We’re good, apparently not a tapping noise from the head is now here. I’ve narrowed it down to the tap it’s but the dealer wants 700 just for those. Should i replace the head completely with a used one or is there some website with timing and cam components please let me know as i’m going to be taring it down soon. I drive everyday to school so i need to get it all fixed soon. Thank you, Seth.
