2008 lancer oil change?

not sure if this is the right spot to post this but:

1. ok my periodic maintenance will be here in about 400 miles. What exactly does mitsu inspect?

2. also if you have already changed the oil in ur lancer please, let me know does anything pop up telling you that you need oil change or, should i just assume that i need one since i am at 3600 miles.

3. if something does pop up how do i reset it for another oil change, and please dont tell me to look in the manual, just tell me, thank you in advance

please only people that actually changed their oil..

1. No clue. You'd have to ask them.

2. Nothing comes up. I'm above 5k and haven't seen anything to change my oil. I chose to at 2600, but that was my own decision.

3. I'd assume you'd hold the INFO button to reset it, but that's just a guess and you're asking about something that might or might not happen anyhow...

lancer oil change

Hey man. I recently got an oil change on the gts lancer.

But i didnt have time to drive 45 miles away to get it at mitsu, i went down the street to a local place.

It didnt reset the meter, the thing that tells you when to get an oil change, so i guess the people at mitsubishi do that.

Also, when i bought the gts, they told me i didnt need an oil change till i got to 7k miles.

But just go by your meter. and go to mitsu, and let me know if they reset it.

Later bro,
Anthony

It tells how to reset it yourself in the owner's manual.
