8.3 seems a little low....but anyway...to mario....if you actually read the engine swap idea...it would be so hard and costly it would not be a smart idea to try it. Also....any normal engine is capable of holding at least 12 PSI of boost and some more if decompressed and intercooled which would add a rather large amount of power. i'm only running 5psi and i already gained close to 60 hp to the wheels. and audiobahn....your joking right?........lol

yeah, and to the guy who doesn't have to shift to 3rd until 65, wtf did you do to the car? I can hit like 60 maybe if I push into the redline area.
twin turbos could be done, they're usually smaller and can still be setup to run off 6 psi.

where do you plan on puttin twin turbos i took a close look and unless yours is different then mine your not gonna have any room the biggest turbo we could get as an additoin to the stock motor is probably a t28 and thats at most

Not to rain on your parade, but I hope you know what you're getting yourself/wallet into. It's going to be labor intensive and expensive...and extremely not at all cost efficient unless you intend to (and can freely afford to) throw at least a couple tens of thousands or more into the car. Without EXTENSIVE mods to the engine you're not going to reach the peak of the 4g94. I'm STILL not understanding why people think engine swaps that are not drop-in or only require small mods are such a good idea.

Stock the rev limiter cuts 2nd gear at 59mph and around 6,300rpms. One of the 0-60 time hinderances, according to car reviewers, was the extra shift that was required to hit 60mph.

engine swaps arent costly, well at least not for me. oh and zlancer, are you sure turbocharging a lancer oz wont do damage to it? even with 5psi? wont it hurt it down the line?
