Lancer OZ 0 to 60mph?
i agree with yannotmi. there's more than just putting a turbo on to making your car perform well.
and to those that took off the rev limiter to get to 65 in second....you know you're actually LOSING hp after 5500 rpm right? the answer to an extra shift isn't increasing the redline (which will do horrible damage to your car since it's not made for that), it's to re-gear the transmission ratios so that you can wind out second longer....but that's a lot more work and money. there's just some things you can't easily fix about a car. i'm willing to bet that if i go through 3 gears to get to 60 and you go through 2, with stock ratios, i will win (as long as my power shifts are smooth
)

zlancer... for real?? you just need to send them the dimensions?? damn... why would my cousin be lying to me... i dont understand... but yeah im willing to spend that much... to buff up my motor... then imma get like a big phat turbo... can u give me more info on that website thing?
Now I've read this I feel even worse. We just ran our 1991 Galant VR-4 with a GTech and the 0-100 time was 8.83sec, I posted about it here https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&threadid=9130 but now I've read that the stock OZ lancer does under 9sec I feel real bad. I'm not saying your cars are slow, but the Galant has the 2000cc turbo like the EVO.

In manual format, you cannot hang 65 mph to last redline. In auto, yes. Gear ratios with only 4 gears.
The US spec galant runs the detuned 4g63T.
If you're thinking about the 6g72 3.0L from the 3K GT VR4 or the 6g74 3.5L from the Diamante. Forget it. No room, unless cutting out the firewall. Also, there is no way you can stuff 2 turbos in your engine bay.
Also, the last time I have checked the 3K GT VR4 is at least 5 inches wider than the mirage (just the overall width of the axle). Adj accordingly since the lancer should be about the same width as the 5g mirage.
People should go to the dealership and check out the 3g eclipse GT which has 6g72 motor w/o the TC. That motor itself is huge!
