i agree - - i think its a US lancer too . .

 

those r evo VII GT-A version(auto gear box) seen a few here n they all hav tezz on them n they look new.so i supppose the GT-A comes with those tezz

 

I think it might be a US lancer because on the Japenese evo VII the tail lights go into the trunk. I was going to get a custom evo trunk but I have to buy new tailights that would have to extend into the trunk so it might just be a US lancer.

 

look at the 7's tail and the tails of the ones on the truck... (page 2 and 1 respectivly)
specifically, look how the tail lights come to a point on the side of the car on the truck version, but how they're flat on the 7...
who's gonna cut out a chunk of the tail piece just to put some fuggin altezas.
btw, imo, as long as someone yells NAAAAASSSSS!!!!!!!! in fast and furious 2, the movie will be just as "AWESOME!!!" as the first. oh! and lets not forget the one liners. If they are EVO VII or VIII, or they modified US Lancers, why the hell put the altezza's on them?

btw, I remember reading in some other rumor thread that they saw what was supposed to be an VIII that looked just like the vegas spy shots, but it had the "gills" on the front fender, like the VII.. also, the side skirts on the 1st pic look a bit more pronounced than on the VII or the base lancer. maybe it is the VIII.. who knows.. i wish they would have included the front end in that shot

 

well either way i personally would like it to be a us lancer...It would be nice to see our car make it in the big screen as a real bad *** suped up us lancer with 310 turbo charged engine... It would make me feel better and been even more motivated to save up for some more mods..

 

Ok, if you look at the tail lights like some one else said, they are pointed like the the us lancer/cedia, the evos are flat. Also if they are evos why can't you see the rear brake caliper through the wheel, I thought that it came painted red stock? Not totaly sure on the last part about the caliper. To me the body kits on the front seem to stick out to far on the side, in front of the wheel. It looks like an aftermarkt kit for the regular lancer/cedia. Although I don't know what compnay might make it.

I think it's a US Lancer/ Cedia also. I agree with everyone on the light but the rear bumper is shaped like ours too. (us lancer) Plus these cars don't seem to be wide body like the Evo.

i have the answer!!! i was looking at the issue #33 of consumer report mag and on the page for the 2003 lancer/evoVIII, they show a front view picture of a yellow US lancer with that front kit on it. it was either a modde dphoto or a drawing but it was there. ill try and find some online pics but if i cant you all will just have to go check out the mag. im not buying it just to scan one picture.

BTW the tailight gives it away so bad. its very obvious.

 

but that still doesnt explain the 5 lug attern, heavy modding for just one damned lug, or mebbe i miscounted, ive only been in high school for what, 4 years now?
