I bought the MSD DIS2 system and correctly installed it on my car. But it didn't work. Then I called MSD and they said you needed tach adapted 8912 (or something like that). So I bought that, hooked it all up correctly and guess what. My coil pack fried like roadkill in Texas, and wiped my computer out. Now after a visit to my friendly neighborhood Mitsu dealer and a $1500.68 bill, I hope no one else puts one of these on their lancers. After a second call to MSD I was informed that because of the design of our coils, any MSD ignition product will fry the packs, and the computers.

Lucky Me
