Hey, I need a set for my '69 Camaro. Since they offer no pictures are precious little description, could someone clue me in to exactly what I need? Obviously a left belt and a right belt, but do I need anchors, etc?

DaD we bought the ones they had for the left side, which meant a much more limited choice of colors. Maybe we bought all of the dirver's side ones? Anyway, I'm not sure, but I've always had this theory that you could buy a passenger side belt and move the ASM device to the other shoulder, but I honestly couldn't tell you how easy or difficult it would be.

For pictures of the current models see www.soloracer.com the difference between those and the old models we just bought is the buckle being on the top instead of the side.

Edit: Blacksheep, you want a car that has rear seatbelts (at least lap belts). I'm pretty sure your Camaro would work for that. You'd probably prefer the Rallye 4 or Rallye Cross. Click the link above for pictures.

Thanks. I was wondering on the previous page there is a picture of the bolt where it goes. After looking at my seat i see 2 of them. Does it matter which bolt you use?.

Oh you know what? That picture was of the bolt that goes on the inside of the seats. Only one bolt there for the inside lap belt. Then you have the outside mount on the side between the doors. Then you mount the rears to the rear seat lap belt or shoulder belt mounts. They have diagrams in the instructions.

The outside mount you are talking about is it on the floor where the seat attaches to?. I am a little lost. Could it go to where i was referring to on the other side where the 2 bolts are. Would you have a picture possibly of the outside mount between the doors?.

Correct, this seatbelt is designed to use all factory anchors... just using the rear ones for the shoulder belts. If you or anyone still doesn't get it, let me know and I'll snap some pictures tonight when I get home.

i got the pics for ya, here's all the mountint points + how it looks overall

You must lift up the cover to expose the bolt. This is the passenger side.

This is the left bolt on the passenger side. To expose this bolt, you must take off the cover that covers up the bolt and the spring and such.

Same, left side passenger bolt.

These are the two bolts I used. You just have to pull off the rear seat and they are right there.

Close up of the center bolt underneath the rear seat.

Close up of the right bolt underneath the rear seat. Notice how I had to bend it.

And this is how the rear looks

And the front!

Hope those pics help!

Bobaab, just fyi I saw a picture in the owner's manual that depicts the rallye cross as crossing behind the seat. So the right shoulder mounts on the left in the back and vice versa. Now, the text said it was the proper installation for the car depicted (of course, they didn't mention which car it was, and our Lancer didn't exist when the belt was made, but it makes sense that they should probably cross in the back. Let me know if your manual says anything different, because they were kinda vague in mine.
