Well, AEM is the only one I've personally tried, and also the only one I've seen a dyno chart for.

I don't think you'll notice it that much. It's not like the car spends too much time in between 2 and 3k rpm. It was just something that bugged me. I had other reasons for getting rid of it as well.

 

the worst thing i did was modding the car!!!!! i would have sooo much money now to put a down payment for the 2005 BMW M5!!!! and the bad thing in modding the car...is when you do a big project your car is off the roads for awhile...***en sucks

 

well i love modding the car...i hate the fact the girlfriend complains when the backseat and hole center console is out, and girlfriend complaining i spend to much money on the car....maybe my worst 'mod' was my girlfriend...

its been fun, and ill mod out my camaro whenever i get it. i still tinker with my Lancer, gonna put 8-10 neons in it tomorrow lol, saw a 'big rig' horn at Advance might put that on

 

I only regret installing an RRM testpipe when I had a header (RPW) and axleback (RMR). It sounded like complete *** and I ended up reinstalling my 2nd cat. I spent HOURS trying to move that o2 sensor bolt until I gave up and got an o2 sensor socket, drove to class, noticed that the exhaust sounded horrible, and promptly uninstalled the testpipe when I got home.

 

i regret doing the turbo, it has led to many problems, and my car is still not working 100%, i'm def not eating wrxs, it is quick tho, i've hung with g35 coupes and 350zs, but i havent pulled on an old maxima even tho it looked modded, i duno, i was expecting more, especially with all the money i spent, it aint worth it, dont do it, sell your car for something nicer, thats what im doing

My worst mod was the combo of K&N typhoon intake and Blitx BOV...when I shifted it sounded like a duck or goose. Im selling the BOV and am going to try the greddy type-s

My worst mod was those damn LED pisser lights. Not on my Lancer mind you, but I definately regret those more than putting a glass pack on my '87 subaru legacy wagon.

 

I like my LED squirters except for the LED part. I originally bought them for the lighting but disconected it and left them in because they are bigger and chrome and look better the the tiny black ones.

 

I forgot to mention doing the Street Customs Short Shifter was the biggest waste of $35. I would have rather kept that money for gas because that shifter, along with the B&M shifter, don't do crap for shortening throws.

 

i bought that shifter and it helped me, but i also shaved the top 2 inches off of it

 

If you can't beat a stock wrx there is no way in hell you will EVER beat a 350Z or a G35 coupe. At stage 1 I killed stock wrx's with no problem. Haven't raced a 350Z or G35 coupe with stage 2 yet but im sure ill take those out too. Let me know when you get something nicer and you think is fast so I can smash on you with the turbo kit you say is 'not worth it'
