Hey Everyone....must say I have really enjoyed this forum, and the way you guys respect each other and conduct yourselves...very professional, and respectfull, with a few exceptions...

My name is Richard and I am a extreme Fan of Mitsubishi and all there products, as well as a subscriber to several Mitsu Forums...and the reason I am posting is to get an idea of how many Lancer enthusiasts are in the West Coast? And how many of them would be interested in attending a Full Blown Mitsubishi WestCoast Gathering...

The Gathering would be open to all Mitsu's, and would last for 2 days and 3 nights. The event would include a BBQ/Picnic, Cruising, Group Pictures/Video, Clubbing, Bowling, Racing (Auto X/Drag), Go-Kart Racing, Full Blown Car Show (Open to All Makes), Full Blown Model Show etc... Along with potential Mitsubishi involvment...

I have in the past helped organize several types of other Gatherings, and even was unknowingly selected to take the lead in the 02 Westcoast Gathering for 3000GT's in LA, Ca...

I am very excited about the potential of a Mitsu WestCoast Gathering, and if anyone is interested, please post here...

I'm also in need of potential leaders to help take a role in organizing the Gathering, and would like to incorporate a commitee consistant with members from all the major Mitsu based websites and forums...that way we know that every faction is represented by there own peers....

coo. I would be interested, I'm not on the west coast and planning on moving to Detroit but I loves a good road trip. The SoCal Lancer group is pretty organized and I'm sure if it was in Cali you would have high attendance from them.

 

Yeah..it's going to be in Cali... And will be the major event to
attend for mitsubishi enthusiasts... And when we produce enough noise and attention, we might actually produce some stimulation in aftermarket support...

Imagine the look on the various vendors faces when the see the overwhelming presence of all those Mitsu's...I swear, all they will see is $$$ and will definately be looking to tap into our market... because if they don't...SOMEONE ELSE WILL!!!

I will be calling in some of my business colleagues to support the event by providing extra added media coverage including magazine coverage...

 

sounds like a plan...i'm here on the central caost of california and allways looking for a good meet...not too many owners here in my little area. any idea on a date and location??hook us up

 

I'm down for a HUGE meet too. Let me know if I can be of any help in getting together Bay Area and Central valley Lancers for the meet. I know a few of us are definatley going to show.
