Trunk Locks
Trunk Locks
i was wondering why we don't have the ability ro lock our trunk either from the inside of the car or outside. even if someone doesn't steal your car they could easily jack anything from the trunk if they wanted (ex. stero equipment) and if they did want to steal our cars, they could get in through the trunk. i know it's not a wise way to break into a car, but my old car got entered through the trunk so it's not impossible. i guess i'm just *****ing about it. anyone got any ideas?
man you must be really bored to come up with that one...
smoke another and install the trunk-club...www.trunk-club.com....or just get some insurance and maybe an alarm...
lancer on
ya
i already have an alarm....just paranoid, you must have never had a car stolen. i pray you never have to experiance it either. plus i have to park my car outside my apartment.
This is stuff your dealership should have gone over with you before you drove off.
open your trunk. Do you see the little white switch on the black latching mechanism? That's the locking switch. Now you have to use the key to open the trunk.
And, if you look at the back of your 60/40 (or is it 70/30?) fold down seat you'll notice a little switch on each part. That's so the jackass who broke your window to get to what may or may not be in your trunk can't lower the seats to steal the aforementioned stuff... or lack thereof
Good luck.
