How can I tell a driver side strut from passenger?

How can I tell a driver side strut from passenger?

Are they the same? are they marked? I have two struts sitting here and I cant tell which is which!!

I believe the part that holds the brake line goes in the front. That should help.

I think he's more concerned about left and right as opposed to front and back.

Yes I know. It's very obvious which is front and back. If you reread my post, I'm talking about where the brake line holder is located on the shock. Since it is placed in the front of the shock, then you need to have it facing forward when the shock has the mounting holes on the outside and the 2 bolt side on the inside at the top. Otherwise, you've got the wrong side. Anyway, he seemed to understand me.

Sorry, that's all I can think of. Lemme take a quick peak and see if I can help any more.

I forgot I sold my stock fronts. There might be a stamp like RF and LF or even just R and L on it somewhere.

I was hoping that there was an L or R stamped on them, but I cant seem to find it. Im pretty sure I know what you mean urban, so Im gonna go take a look and make sure I can tell which is which. Thanks for your help guys, if I still cant tell, I'll post again
