at his mustang lol it was great. he put in those stupid 'ebay' ecu resistors and he "SWORE" he was faster, and SWORE he'd WHOOOOP me so many times and i handed him his ***...so our car has HOPE! with headers i think i could take em easier. top end is

Just installed Lancer Automatic Piggy Back
Hey guys, I am a mechanic and have had my lancer for about a year or so now and have been building it up little by little at work and school. I did the usual intake(new MAF) exhaust, had the heads ported and polished, but still felt sluggish. Well i decided to toss the coin sacrifice eating steak and eating spam for awile and bought the Piggy Back. And as many can agree it really is the best mod short of a turbo to get a noticable differance. After going trought the learn mode and taking it easy I got challenged by a mini cooper at a light by me and after even having a bad launch you can feel the box work its magic in the mid-high RPM range. The next day I took it to the school and we tested the car/ timing was cleaner and not overadvanced as it tends to do on stock programming, also the fuel trim is cleaner which is the new fuel map keeping everyhting in a more stable but performence friendly closed loop system, we have a dynojet at my school and am gonna set up a 3 hopur dyno run for my car this week so it will be interesting to see the gains! And oh yea gas milage seems to be better than before due to using a higher octane fuel which in nature is a slower burning fuel ( to prevent detonation/knocking) and being used more effieciently by the system. Any questions I have some good tips on installing and overall ya can't go wrong! Thanks Rock and the team at Road Race for coming through again, hey RRM now that this is in the turbo fund is getting back in swing! can't wait to get the stage 2!!!!
