1st of all this post is in the wrong place. A mod shall move it shortly. 2nd of all it is illegal for any muffler shop to tamper with vehicle emissions systems. They can get fined like $3,000 and lose their business license if they get caught tampering with a customer's emissions. Lastly it's so easy... just jack the car up or put it on a lift. Remove 4 bolts and out comes ur cat, be sure to unplug the sensor then put the testpipe in and put the sensor into the bung and put the 4 bolts back. Ur done.

sensor is like the size of a spark plug, it screws into the catalytic converter. U gotta unscrew it from there then screw it into the test pipe then bolt the testpipe back into where the stock cat was.

yea man, that should be easy, unless the bolts are rusted and you gotta jerk around a wrench while your car is sitting on just a jack, my advice, put 2 jacks stands under it and bricks behind the tires on the ground, then you should be straight

just make sure you take out the o2 sensor first, before takin out the cat.. it'll be very tough to do it when the cat is loose

The b1tch of it is, you're probably gonna get sick of the ricey sound, nearly asphyxiating yourself at every stop light, and lack of torque after a few thousand miles, likeI did, and like a lot of folks I know. This is something you're REALLY gonna want to learn to do on your own.

A breaker bar is a huge tool that amplifies your work in order to remove tough things easier than using a small wrench.

So did you remove it or do you still drive around with it?
