hi everyone i am new to this forum my girl just bought a 2002 lancer oz ed. i have been in love with the evo since i first saw one and i want to make her car as close to one as possable i don't know what mitsu was thinking when they put the 4g94 in the lancer but we want more is there any parts out there for this little sohc and would you be able to import an evo engine and put in or would it be impossable sorry for the lenght just wondering.

Importing an Evo engine would be very expensive. You'll also be lacking the seam welded chassis, 4wd drivetrain, AYC, big brakes, etc. You might want to look into turboing the the engine already in the car. RMR Products appear to have a development kit out for the Lancer. Try contacting them about pricing and availability.

thanks for the help ya its her car i have s/r that i am working on but if the evo was on the lot when i was looking it would have gone home with me i love the evo i ike the lancer in general but i am locked into payments with ford right now, it will be the last time i will ever look at a ford, ford treats you like crap over anything mitsu treats you like a king in my experance. i was thinking about a 4g63 non turbo conversion for it.
