taking apart the dash

i know i've seen the thread hundreds of times, but no matter what i search for, can't seem to find the damn thing. maybe i missed it in how-to but where's that long thread about taking apart the dash? i want to get at the plastic pieces to paint them.

i know how to get the radio trim and the glove box out...and i imagine the answer is unscrew the few screws and pull gently so the clips don't break. just want to be sure.

remove the AC/radio trim and there will be two screws... unscrew those and u'll be able to take out that long piece. u'll also have to take out ur gauge so u can grab onto the dash and pull slowly

u dont really need to take out ur glove box

that was about how i expected it to go. i went the hard way and pulled out the glove box and the 5"x5" panel on the side. that way i was able to get my hand under and push out a couple clips. paint is drying. woo!
