In a magazine I read recently they layed CF over the stock roof on a 240sx. I like CF but that is rediculous. With CF, I think if it's not functional and is expensive it's not worth it.

Cuz I hate when cops look at me all the time cuz of my black hood (temporary). So when I get a carbon fiber hood I would just paint it so it would look normal and of course clean. Also there so many Hondas with carbon fiber hood. OR Imma just to this, paint the sides of the hood and leave like 60% of CF so it wouldn't look dirty. If my car is Black then I would leave the hood all carbon fiber.

painting just the sides of the hood can look cool, but you still havent stated the point of painting the whole hood.

I wanna paint the entire carbon fiber hood so it would look like normal but lighter than stock or the current hood I have right now. Painting the sides of the hood is also an option for me. It's either way.

paintint a cf hood will make it just a little lighter than stock so loses some of its usefulness. why do you want it lighter anyways, you getting a turbo and going to the track?

Yea turbo but I won't be racing. 2 grand more to go then it's turbo time or super. RIPP MODS has a good offer for their supercharger though, cheaper. hehe

If you have the money, make the entire body out of carbon fiber. Hell, formula cars have carbon fiber bodies AND carbon fiber frames!!!
