But does anyone know how much it is to rent a spring compressor and/or a impact wrench from Auto Zone or anywhere? I know I can call tomorrow, but just wondering if anyone could help now.

Also, how much you pay for your installation?

Sweet, so youre guessing it is cheaper to than having them installed?

I know they have the spring compressor... just hoping they have a impact wrench...

much cheaper, it practically will cost you nothing to do them yourself.

I've done 3 spring installs on the Lancer now (Progress, Eibach and Tein SS) and none of them required a spring compressor. Ironically, my dad needed one for the Mustang so I have access to one now. But you will want an impact wrench, and a cordless electric one was good enough for me. You can rent that for about $20-25 from Home Depot.

As for install prices, I heard quotes around here ranging from $150 to $300 (just for labor)
