Where to tap the Lancer headlight power source

Hi, I was wondering where the red and black wires are that goes to the steering column so I can tap it with a new gauge cluster Im installing. So the gauge is in-sync with the headlights when turning off or on. I can't seem to find it, there's so many wires down there and I don't want to splice every single one! Perhaps I can just tap it directly on the fuse box?

Go directily for the fuse box. Personally I don't like cutting factory wires unless I have too

well...i'm curious, which gauge cluster u go for? If it's the reverse indiglo gauges, then u don't need to tap into the headlight source.

Wut I did was cut/splice the wires from the dimmer switch. It should be the GREEN/BLACK wire and the BLACK wire.

I got the reverse indiglo gauges. I guess that's not a bad idea. You mean the GREEN/BLACK = POSITIVE and BLACK = NEGATIVE ??

Thanks for the response Let me try doing that.
