I have to say, if you look at mine you'll find they're orange too If it would be about aesthetics then I wouldn't drive an Evo....

Ryan, invite some people from the MLR if you want, then we'll have a mass brawl, hehehehe. Only joking, although it depends... Just tell people about this thread and then they can see if they want to come or not.

Gerrit, your place sounds better, I take it it's a small "Gasthaus" type thing? Yep, we should get some competition, how about drinking? In that case I take on the whole Netherlands Nah, I wouldn't probably manage to do that, but if I get one of my Finnish mates to come over from the motherland, he'll win it by himself. They call him "the sponge".... I also agree we should have a smaller meet before, how about March or late February? That could be something like Andre, Jan, you and me? Did I forget someone that lives close by?!? In that constellation I'll be superslow though.....

of course not drink when driving on the Ring, drink a little after the driving has finished. Also Holland has other interesting products to offer, so I've been told

I'm well up for coming over to the ring next year, late march /april would be good as I am skiing early march.

Michael, where do you live in Germany, as I spent the last 3 winters living and working in Munich, and I travel over occasionally to see friends.

Clive, I live near Düsseldorf, quite far from Munich.

Now, I think I'll just suggest a date for the meetings that we have something to work with here.

1. Meeting 30.3. or 31.3.

2. Meeting (with hotel stay, etc.) 24.5.-26.5.

How's that everyone?

Thumbs up

I'll make it at least at one of those dates suggested (as long as I don't need a back surgery )

If there's some interest I could look into organizing a Monza track day. Open for a discussion.

Cheers

Mike

Claudius

according to Antonio and others Monza is great to drive. Sure it's fast but this also makes it fun on the straights as you can use others slipstream. Tarmac and run-off areas are good, not to difficult to learn (at least you know after some laps if it goes to the right or left).

Also the Parabolica is one of the trickiest corners to get right. Also high speed braking into the chicanes needs some *****.

I'll go anyway with Antonio and some mates next year so we'll keep you uptodate.

Cheers

Mike

oh, Claudius,

Dont wimp out!!

It is quite safe on the Ring if you treat it with the proper respect.

I wont touch your car when passing you on the outside

Honestly, this is the best track in the world! I spend way too much money by driving there all the time (ask my wife ).

You will love to pass the slower vehicles you mentioned; that way you will pass at least someone!
