Bolt Size or Options

K, I installed my RRM intake like 2 weeks ago and everything went fine. I checked today yesterday though, and the bolt holding the L bracket from the MAS Adapter to the body wall has gone missing. I was wondering if anyone knows what size the bolt is or what other options i have. Is it bad to just let the intake sorta move around in the engine bay? Because of this the ground thats there is just hanging free, will that be problematic?

Have you tried calling RRM... I hear they are pretty cool people. They might have a solution for you.

Yeah might do that, just from here its an international call. Plus i have university during most of their working hours. I bought some bolts to try from Rona today but they didn't work. Wondering whether they're just the wrong size or whether you need like specialty ones, like the damn airbox had.

Email them... or PM Rob... Solves the problem right there with the international call rates.

Is the intake you have on your car the SRI cause I have the SRI on my car. I'll check in the morning and I'll have a response to you by the evening, as I also am in class the majority of the day... I'd go look now but I'm in boxers and the neighbors frown upon those that go walking around with only your underpants on, well the ladies like it but that's a different story.

I'm going to go look under my hood right now... Just got home from school...

Topic for disscussion: can someone tell me why people are perfectly nice when they are walking about but once you get them behind a steering wheel they become assmonkeys? Think about that while I go check bolt sizes and such... talk amongst yourselves...

Ok... it is a size 10mm bolt, at least that's what I got on mine. As for length of the bolt I have no clue as I couldn't get it off. It is the same size bolt as the one that is holding what I think is the ECU to the side wall of the car. Yeah, laugh it up... I don't know what the ECU looks like or where it is... This is why it is bad getting information from me, I know more about pants then I know about cars and even my knowledge of pants is limited to jeans and slacks. I'd just PM someone from RRM and get a real response... Anyway I hope that helps... if not then I apologize and will shoot myself once I get a gun. Or not.

Thanks a lot Shingen. I'll see if I can get some 10mm bolts and rehook it up.
