It would help if you told us what gauges you bought in the first place. Then once we establish that, did they come with instructions? The wiring varies from brand to brand and model to model, as do sensor types and ideal locations for them.

i got OBX racing sports(got it off ebay, thats prolly my 1st mistake ). it came with instructions but they suck(that or i just dont understand them)i got the wiring all down...i just need to know where the sensors go. i know one of the goes right next to the oil filter. Where that alen head is. i just dont know what one goes where..i also have a water temp gauge. and i have no idea where that goes..

You should already have a water sensor... it is on the left of the head... a little black thing with one wire, try that and see what you get. The oil temp, well...., wait to change you oil and either buy adapters to stick it where the plug was or you will have to drill AND TAP(for no leaks) into the pan. Good luck...

HAHA, no kiding.

I used an extended allen wrench and a hammer.

I put the end of the allen key on the hydraulic jack and pumped it.

where could i get a sender for the oil temp gauge? So if i understand correctly, the sender for the oil temp gauge would screw in in place of the allen screw by the oil filter? oOo

I was hoping that there was some stock sender that i could just tap into! In that case, if the little OIL light in the dashboard comes on, what does it mean?

thanks for the help guys

use a filter block--that should be easier to get the sending unit into than the screws on the car.

if the oil light comes on on the car it means put some damn oil in it!
