I think thats the definition of an idiot, going fool-heartedly into a situation based upon prior assumptions. Really, how smart do you have to be to realize that Calgary roads+a recent history of melting and freezing+a guy more concerned about getting to the bar than driving carefully=a sticky situation?

No, we simply don't believe in sitting back and saying "there there its not your fault" when it's quite obvious it was a stupid move on your part.

Ouch, you hurt my E-go. Get it, like e-mail. Yeah, I know, that was lame.

But hey, if I was an idiot and crashed my car I would probably be looking for sympathy too. I just wouldn't have told anyone I did it while doing probably 3 times the speed limit through a turn, while in a notoriously cold and frosty place, on the way to a bar. Really smart move.

Take responsibility for your actions, dont make it seem like a freak accident that you crashed going 120. You should be feeling lucky that there wasn't another car around that corner.

What amazes me is that people actually post instances like this where they were being dumb as rocks and get the kick in the pants for it... This isn't something to be proud of !

^^ So true. It kinda runs along the lines of going home and telling your parents you kicked an old lady in the back and made her fall down some stairs. It's just not something you should be telling everyone.

don't worry about the car. try and pay off the loan if you still have one on the car, then get a bus pass. you and everyone else on the roads will be much safer.
