EVO front end replacements

hey guys,

ive been a diehard subaru fan for a long time, and have switched teams to Mitsu

2 things i dont like about the looks of the evo is the tail lights and the front end (it reminds me of a galant). ive been looking, but havnt found any front end replacement pieces for the car yet. i know there will be a slew of them eventually, but does anyone have any links or pics of stuff out now?

i wont be buying for at least another year, but cant wait to get one

Veilside has a kit ready/in the works - do a search and I am sure you will find some threads/pics of it.

Damon you have the C-west , and Valdi Sport kits or get a EVO 7 bumper and add a lip spoiler from Monster Sport, HKS Kansai, Creative Sports. I'm sure other kits or lip spoilers are coming out shortly.

thanks for the help guys. im reeeealy not feelin that cwest kit, its too over the top, and the veilside kit just accentuates what i dont like about the front end.

i didnt know the VII would fit on the VIII. same car, just different front end, eh? sounds good... i like the VII front a lot more than the VIII.

thanks!

Or maybe get a really good auto bodyshop to cut out the triangular thing and put a small Mitsu badge on it

I dont like that triangular center grill thing as well. Looks stupid and pontiac-like. The bodykits shown so far arent too good looking unfortunately.

Guys, I don't understand... If you don't like the looks of the EVO so much, why get one? Heck, part of the car is the styling. I think the car loks pretty good to me. The big the big wing took some getting used to but really, that's what the car is all about.... I've gotten a lot of attention with my EVO and none of it has been negative ... Unless you want to go for the sleeper, stealth look of a regualr lancer, I don't see the need to try to hide the car's style.

just my $.02

(oh yeah, and coming from a WRX.... well, styling is not exactly it's forte )

i dont think the car is about styling at all... its about performance. i absolutely love the car accept the taillights and front end. why not change what you dont like about the car to fit what you want? i really could care less about what anyone thinks of what i drive, im not an attention hog. as long as im happy with it

and the only thing that sucked about the previous WRX was the dodge neon headlights, and itty-bitty wheels. they have fixed that this year, so its basically perfect (aesthetically) in my eyes.

Well, as they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder I'm not a WRX basher at all, I loved my WRX and I still respect the car for what it is. Personally, I much prefer the EVOs looks than the new WRX, but that's a personal preference. Of course, neither car is as beautiful as any number of other cars, but what the hell, I did not buy either one (specially the WRX) for it's looks. If I wanted styling foremost, I probably would have gone with the G35C or the 350Z or any number of other cars...
