I am just curious, i have a sri and i was wondering if by doing this it would increase air flow. So i was wondering how hard it is to install and what exactually it involves. Please let me know. Thanks.

 

It would help increase cold air flow into your filter. Basically you pattern where you want to cut, drill a hole in your hood, pull out the reciprocating saw, cut away the sheet metal leaving a hole, then pop in the vent and secure it.

 

yup, that is what i did on my es, and it is held in by rivets. the only down side is you might have to get through the frame of the hood, and the rivets i used rusted on top after getting wet only a few times. good luck

Cut a hole the size and shape of duct. Use 5-7 rivets to install Carefully drill holes and then install pinch moulding to the bqack edge. Takes about an hour.
