Question Pics of installed FPR?

Ive been looking and I am starting to get dizzy, so I need some help. Does anyone have a picture of an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator installed. I am about to put my RPW FPR in and would appreciate it if anyone could post a pic of one installed, or one like it, for me to reference

Thanks alot, in the meantime, where did you mount the valve? It says it should not be near a main heat source.

Were you happy with or even notice the benefits described by RPW?

I have one of those too. Its a piggyback to the stock FPR, not really a stand alone but it works. I don't have a gauge so I don't know what pressure I'm running. I just turned it untill I got it to where the car was running a teeny bit rich and subtracted with the SAFC. I still have the 190L fuel pump in too so god only knows... but the gas mileage is awesome.

38-39psi should be fine, I'm at 41psi and pretty good A/F ratio for the mods I have.

Fuel Pressure Regulator. It regulates the pressure on the return side of the fuel system by basically closing off the outlet end of the fuel rail. Works like a FMU except it is a fixed pressure setting and not variable.

It doesn't really. I think if I could measure mine it would be lower than stock. I think its a contributer to my gas mileage.

I think it increases your throttle response but it might be just my imagination.

Well RPW's web sight will tell you a variety of benefits to having thier FPR and I can tell you now that mine is on, and mine is a "stand alone", that my throttle response is slightly better, it was already good with the mods I have put on, and my acceleration is alot better. If I punch it at 45mph or so it torque steers a little which it wasn't doing before and I can feel a stong pull all through the power band. Go to RPW web site and look it up. It has a good write-up describing exactly what it does and is recomended for NA ("Highly recomended" for FI).Difference described is that it delivers the fuel at 1.7 times the rate of the stock FPR when accelerating, Eliminates flat spots in performance, Improves and provides faster acceleration. I can tell you after one day it did do what it said it would do. It also is adjustable(tuneable) as well and came with pressure guage. Crypto, I know your on a budget, just so you know, it was $340 shipped and it took three months to get it from Australia.

I can see the acceleration being helped. Higher pressure means when the injectors open more gas is available in that pulse.
