Anyone want to get it started?
Anyone want to get it started?
Is anyone looking to do some basic things with their new car?
Personally I am going to be looking to clear the corners and also get some euro looking tail lights for the back.
For now I was thinking we could break this open by just having how-tos on taking the stock parts out. I will play around with mine this weekend and get some pics up of how to remove the front and rear lights. Anyone else want to contribute their own how tos?

Ok here is a list of things I place to do. Feel free to post your plans as well!
1. Clear front taillights
2. Install euro rear tailights (hopefully ebay has em soon)
3. Skid plates for light offroading
4. New shift knob (should be cake)
5. Remove front bumber piece in the center grill and replace with mesh (I have this feeling the front would look even better without that one piece there and having the front grill be completely mesh.
These things dont count products coming out for the car, but Im sure RRM and WORKS will have their own install guides.

I dont have a lancer yet but im going to get it in the grey. My plans go as follows:
-18inch ASA AR2's
-Coilovers
-software upgrade
-short ram
-Maybe an exhaust if the car doesnt sound ricey.
-paint the roof gloss black
-debadge the trunk
-Carbon fiber splitter on the front
-Redo interior seats in 2tone black leather and grey suede centers with red stitching
-Maybe a new hood if i can find the right one.
-Possibly in the future a big turbo.
As you can see im coming from the euro world so im bringing some of that flavor over with me. Hope to bring something good things to the scene.

(First poast yay!) After seeing pics, I think I'm going to see if I can blackout the front grille. Mine has the color-keyed center member.
I just got an '08 GTS in Silver - Nav, sunroof, F.A.S.T key system and 5MT. First mod was SilverStar Ultra lows.

That's funny.
So....SHOWTIME, how did you do it? You know make the grill all black!!
That's looks hot. I know you said it was a bytch but, I am interested in trying to get that done. What kind of paint did you use and how did you make it so precise?
