I got a quote today to get it fixed......$1,400!!! I need a new hood but the finder can be saved. I', also waiting on the Orange County Sheriff to call me back.

 

I am sorry, but the cop you spoke with is just being lazy. He can indeed execute a search of local dealerships for the car based on the description of the both the vehicle and driver. Since this was case that could result in multiple felony charges on the driver, upto and including attempted manslaughter depending on the mood of the DA and Police they should definately be doing their jobs in trying to track this person down. They can also be out checking and watching for parts buys for the damage on his car from him attempting to run you down. I would contact the local PD's non-emergency number and ask to speak to a supervisor. If that goes no where (Take notes, get names and what not on everything) then contact the mayor's office for the department and let them know you will be contacting the local media. And do be prepared to contact the local media.. this is no small matter and if the police aren't doing their job they will jump all over it as well as city hall.

 

dude sorry to hear that, but **** u might as well wait for the CF hood unless u wanna get a new hood soon. if u ever do find that ***'s car, just kick the living hell outta it, **** not like he knows its u.

that sucks i would of shot his peice of junk full of holes. everyone watch your new lancers they tend to make people extremely jealous. i always park my car myself.
