Smile Im new to the Lancer

I just bought my Lancer (ES, AT) about 2 weeks ago. Since my dad was the one signing for it, i had to get the gay auto which im pretty upset about but still loving every second of the car. but looking for some new mods to do on it. and since im paying for it myself, im looking for good mods but at a fairly decent price. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

RRM and Works are your only options right now.
http://roadracemotorsports.com/08Lancer.htm - the 08 page
http://www.worksevo.com/ - they don't have an 08 section yet.

Don't hate the auto. It's nice to have sometimes. I've driven stick for the last 5 years and I just bought the CVT auto Lancer.

well the manual should cost less up front and long term.

give u a bit more control and power and supposedly faster 0-60. but i dont know anymore lol cuz road tests say the cvt is just as fast.

But one bonus for sure is that the manual transmission make your lancer fully modifiable.

CVT i dont know if it could handle it. but well see.

CVT gives u a little better fuel economy to. tiny bit

Yeah, stick is going to give you more power and a little better gas mileage. But at this point, who cares? You're rocking a great 08. Just enjoy what you have. With the parts RRM has come out with, we've seen some sick auto Lancers in the EvoM community. I'm sure that will continue with the 08s.

Yeah def enjoy the 08, we will have autos whoopin man trannies :P

Real question though based on what you said black, you mean stick gives better gas mileage than a 4spd AT right? the CVT is better than the 5spd efficiency wise last i checked. 4spd AT < 5spd MT < 6spd CVT.. Correct me if im wrong please.

Yeah, sorry. The original poster specifically said auto, so I'm assuming he got the non-CVT model.

I believe you might be correct, though. I haven't looked at the exact EPA guidelines for each model, however.

rrm and works are your only 2 choices but i dont think WORKS is being active. RRM came out with about 6-8 items for the lancer already while works just came out with springs.

Yeah, the "fun factor" of a 5-sp is 300% greater than an auto... but you'll enjoy it regardless.

Works doesn't have much yet. One part. But they claim to be working on the platform.
