Fake CF pieces
Fake CF pieces
Has anyone removed them, to include the ones on the doors? I was wanting to get them painted to match the exterior and just needed to know if they were screwed in from behind or pop out.
Any and all help would be appreciated.

Just Unscrew
I took the parts out last weekend to redue them in a brushed aluminum look. It just takes time. The dash panels are easy with just one screw on the ends. To get the doors you need to take the entire door apart, but it is not too bad. I aluminum look is much better than the fake CF, at least Mitsubishi could have given the fake CF the look the Hondas have.

Even the decal kits for the dash would be fine by me. The high-end ones (read as: not cheapo) look great. My friend got a quality CF sticker dash kit in his Evo and it looks really great. Or like the kits RMR used to offer...
