Why did you have to order the spray from Japan. VHT makes the same stuff and its sold locally for $12.00 a can.

theres nothing wrong with using that one dude. i just prefer my things from japan. modding cars was first introduced from japan, it just makes me feel better knowing that its from japan when i swipe my credit card. you can definitely use the spray that you find.

tools needd:

hairdryer
wet cloth
dental floss/fishing line
goo off (optional)

1) heat the badge with hairdryer for about 2-3 minutes.
2) take dental floss, carefully remove the badge.
3) since our car are new, i dont think goo off is neccessary. i personally didnt use it. but if you see any excess glue. use goo off.

**** make sure you put goo off on the wet cloth. DO NOT PUT IT ON UR CAR DIRECTLY. clean it asap. do not wait, it will damage your OEM paint ****

hope that helps.

its crazy how you sprayed on your tails while its still attached to the back of your car. anyway it looks good. i was also thinking about putting the film on instead of the spray coz i had the spray on my focus and cops are all over me most of the time for no apparent reason. i also noticed that on our lancers, the tails arent really gonna be touching the outer "cover" of the whole tail light assebly, which is good because i think because of that, the projection of the lights would be brighter. correct me if im wrong pls.

as long as you do a good job taping up ur taillight before you spray it, then ur fine. as for film vs. spray. go on the first page, i tink i went over that. i had film tint on my g35. didnt like it cuz of bubbles. spray by far is the most ez and convenient way of doing it. and cheap too!.

is there anyone here that will paint the inside of the tail lights? instead of doing the spray tint on the outer lens? i think the light red plastic inside the lens is what really makes it look pink. why does mitsu keep doing this?? lol, w/ the ralliart they made the inner headlight lens black but the tail lights chrome. now on the 08's they have the black head lights w/ pink tails???WHAT THE HELL!? haha. i'm hoping the tails and headlights from the evoX will be swappable w/ the gts.

The lens is actually tinted light red. I'm sure the red inserts inside do make a difference, but the biggest part is the lens itself.

true, but the lens is barely tinted....i wonder how the outer lens would look if the inside was black?
