weight reduction....
What about the stock exhaust system? How much less could I expect a lightweight aftermarket catback to be?
Personally, most of the weight savings options listed aren't worth it if it sacrafices comfort. I bought the car because of its great features to begin with, not to have the fastest 1/4 mile time

10 lbs max.
I have an RRM Axle back/Cat back and the thing weighs 10 lbs less i am guessing, it is a good mod to get (better performance and sound) but not for weight savings only.

if you can find a titanium exhaust like JIC that only weighs 10-12 pounds or so, that would provide greater weight savings.

i removed the stock exhaust, so im just running the pipe all the way back(yea its prob illegal) but feels like there is a bit less weight on the back, not to mention the take off seems a bit quicker. not too much like oh damn its alot faster, but just picks up a tad bit more.
thanks alot blacksheepjd, i thought the same thing, but my friend explained it to me, plus im sayin up to custom make the greddy can fit my car. but thats just gunna b for looks now ;]
yea thats true cause when the wheel spins it causes rotating mass and from what i heard it does wheigh alot when it spins there alot of math and Physics to calculate how much weight, but the weight of the tire does mater.
