Thanks for the directions, I installed mine today and it really took no time at all (10 minutes or so)
I hear the intake which sounds cool but at a certain RPM, around 2500 it makes a kind of weird sound before sounding good again. Is that normal or do I have a leak maybe? Also, the part where the filter fits on is quite long is the filter supposed to be towards the end of it or as far down on it as possible?

The filter should go down as far as you can get it.
I never got to thank the reply. At first the intake sound was a little weird but I think once I got used to it, I really like it. I don't know it seems like my car has "gotten used to it" as well. It's quite different now then it was when I first installed it.
do we have to get the SRI from RRM to install the

or can we just get the intake and install it?

If you want to just buy this and nothing else, no, that won't work. There'd be nothing to attach it to.
If you're asking if you have to buy this and this, then no, you don't need to. You only really need to buy the "Replacement filter" item once your original one has gotten dirty or damaged.

You have a Fed-spec, so I can't figure why it'd be so sensitive to the intake...
