the warranty laws for modded parts are part of SEMA

but also remeber the laws might not work if the part doesn't carry a CARB number


ofcourse the dealer (and/or manufact) will try and say your intake ruined your... rear wheel bearing... hell when the S2000 came out and they had the issues with the rear diff .. friend of mine had one with a CAI .. his rear diff exploded, they tried to refuse his claim saying the intake made the engine overpower the diff.

basically.. the modded part must have a DIRECT relation with the failed part for them to void your coverage.

GUess I should monitor this thread. BUt some dealers are real and some are not!

We sell a ton of stuff to dealers though. Never had a problem or come back or complaint. We have even sold complete turbo kits installed by delaers on BRAND NEW CARS. Go figure huh.
