I'm looking to get two fog lights to go on the lower grill on my 08. I was thinking either blue or yellow lenses, and I was going to do a custom grill insert to accomidate these. Any opinions on what brand and type of lights I should buy?

If your car is the one is the avatar, don't you already have fogs? Well, if you wanna upgrade, get Piaa or Catz. I got some Catz driving lights, and they're nize!

 

not sure of the brands you should get but don't get yellow. IMO they are tacky. Get the blue bulbs.

 

Actually, I think the yellowish-color illuminated by Piaas on a blue car would be hawt!

 

Yea, right now I'm kinda torn between yellow and blue. I was set on blue, but then I started looking at some yellow ones, on older lancers, and thought they looked alright on some cars too. Thanks for the advise though, I'll have to check that out. And I do have fogs but I wanted to upgrade them, and possibly try something different with my existing fog light grills.

 

Hella or PIAA are good names.

Yellow are actually supposed to be the best color for human vision, if that's important to you...

 

what bulbs(the bulb number) do our original fog lights have ?

is it possible to hook HID kit into the original fog lights??

 

^^i think its possible to use HID's on the fogs. just gota figure out the bulb size.

just removed the foglight to check the bulb size... its " H11 "

will be gettin 6000 K or 8000K HID kiT

^^the temp really depends on the manufacturer cause alot of them vary. just be aware
