Automatic trunk opener?

Is it possible to install an automatic trunk opener? This remote's off a galant, and I'd love to find someway to sync it with my car to open my trunk. Maybe if I get a trunk latch from a junked galant, could I install it? I'm assuming if this is possible its prob too troublesome to bother, but I think this would be a nice accessory, especially if it allows me to fill in the keyhole in the trunk

Yeh, that has been discussed before...but a while back. We agreed it'd be just to much of a hassle and to go aftermarket for everything for it.

Good luck if you go that route!

That would be cool.... I dont think it would be all that hard as long as you started with the galant parts... Probably could get the whole system out of a trashed galant and just install it to the lancer.
