How To: HID Install w/ Harness
FYI I pulled the DRL fuse that manual says it is, and all hell broke loose. The manual says its fuse 12 on the ETACS ECU fuse panel. I could have pulled the wrong one by accident...but either way I think theres way more signals going thru that fuse than just the DRLs. I have no clue why the fuse cover in the engine bay has a little DRL symbol on it there when it obviously doesnt do ****.

playing a mean joke or something...
You need the full kit, the HID's get the power from the ballast, which don't pull as much power as the stock lights do. Stock lights pull about 50-60 HID's pull about 30-40, so they burn brighter with out all the power. You can get a bypass for the DRL, so you can ride around without the lights in the "on" position, with this bypass, you can ride around with the lights in the "off" positon, and you wont get the "flicker"...... can get them for about 18$
Something for ya all to snack on.....
