How To: HID Install w/ Harness
For quality and a complete kit I would order Xenon Depot.
The kit is tested and has a very high reliability record among my blog followers and the Toronto Lancer Club. The reason why you want this kit is because it comes with a Relay (included in the kit) and Xenon Depot throws in the Canbus Fix (anti Flicker module) for free. With all that you will have no issues with the kit.
About the comment with the glare, this just isnt the case. The design of the Non projector is not as bad as most people think. The design does not cast too much upper and side misdirect beams as other cars. On top of that. More people get annoyed by the super hyper blue colors than anything else. Stay away from kits above 8000k. I run 3000k and love it and get many compliments.
All that said, nothing beats a proper retrofit to projectors... but you will have to weigh the costs to see if this is for you

retro fits can be doing locally at a very good shop. you can buy your own projectors and halo angel eyes if that is what you are looking to do.
For the actual HID's I endorse www.xenondepot.com . just cause they simply work and they have like 9 years experience with the same line of kits.

Just installed my H.I.D Kit 10000 K. the install went great but now when the lights are turned off and i have the SIRIUS Satellite Radio running it seems that I am getting interference from the passenger side speakers. Does anyone out there have some ideas for me to check out or change? I was thinking that it could be a problem with the placement of the ballast but im jus not sure. Any ideas would be great. Thanks
i got my HIDs from xenonsupply.com....After first install the passenger light wouldnt come on, but I did a little trouble shooting and had to re-ground it. After it worked for a few days, my passenger light wouldnt turn on again. I checked the connections and tried it again and it worked again....Now today my driver side HID wont come on. I've done all the trouble shooting I can. Hopefully someone can help me...Please!!!!!
You just have to purchase 2 separate kits, 1 for your low beam and 1 for your fog lights.
To me it's not worth an other $150-250 to get my fog lights to be HID.
I'm going to speak from a professional stand point (take it as you will) but all HID lights are technically illegal. If they are factory installed they must be in a projector housing.

So, to do it right, with the projector housing , what is the complete list of things you need to place HIDs in a lancer 2011 gts?
And do they really sell HID fogs? And where?
Thanks!
Hi everyone!
I recently bought a 9005 HID kit to replace my factory HI beam but I'm getting stuck.
The factory connection between the bulb and the socket is located behind a plastic enclosure that you need to twist and pull to be opened.
But...
For anyone who have already installed HID kit, you've probably noticed that the factory connector plugs in the ballast and getting out of it with 2 wires that goes to the HID light bulb!
There is the problem i'm facing, it's physically impossible to place a ballast in that small plastic enclosure! :P

If I leave the plastic cover opened, am I going to get moisture problem in my headlights?
Any solution to avoid cutting my factory wires?
I can' t figure how to do it in a clean way!
Anyone have already installed an HID kit on the HI Beam?
Thanks!!
