Has anyone changed the horn(s) on their 2008 Lancer?
I just wanted to know how many horns we have…1 or 2?
(so far I’ve only located one behind the upper grille)

I think we have seperate horns for the alarm and for the steering wheel horn. But i dont really know

 

i don’t have an alarm, so i’m pretty sure i only have one…
but i want to be certain of this…

anyone know for sure?

 

i have the gts it comes with a regular horn, then an alarm horn, no idea where they are located yet.

haha, they arent really too hard to find. usually up front by the grill area some where.

 

LOL, my OZ came with two right up front! Super loud actually.

its got 2 horns, which sound like a scooter, biiiiii. one is visible behind the upper grill, the other one if your standing infront of your car is behind the left fog light, behind the left intake like thing under the head light.
i changed mine, its much better now, it sounds like a real car, i used electric one low and one high. they look like the same horns my cherokee has

 

lol yea it has 2 horns i replaced mine with minor train horns lol

There's the high one (steering wheel horn) and the low one (alarm).

update:
my lower horn works with the steering wheel...
i took off the plastic cover and touched the horn as my neighbor tooted it. lol

 

yea i got a 2 way car starter/alarm installed in my car for about $750 and the alarm is REALLY loud and the horn goes off too.

 

I want the train horns on mine so bad! A friend of mine has them on her Celica... damn they are loud! I want to scare the hell out of the people who cut me off all the damn time!
