I have the ES and have the controls on the steering wheel, however when i press the button nothing happens. I called to talk to the dealership and they said that the controls are there but you have to pay to get the module installed, $400.

 

yep, that shouldn't be a surprise....you did look at the dealer tag before you bought the car right?

 

I did, i just wanted to see how much it was to install it. Dont need it, i have a Magellan the uses Bluetooth with my phone for hands free talking.

and 400 to get it done? damn I didn't think it would be that much. If the controls are already there I can't see it being that difficult just to set it up

 

yea i just picked up my ES today and it has the controls, i didn't pay attention on the sticker if it was already set up, but it was priced at 24,000 with a bunch of extras so i'm sure it's already set up on mines, gonna read the manual in a bit then go try it out
