No pix of before and after?

Not yet. I will in a few days. Car is pretty filthy right now. Also going to give it a couple days atleast for the springs to settle.

Nice pics. In addition if you dont have an impact wrench (or you have a **** one), grab a breaker bar or standard rachet and put a piece of metal tubing (plumbing stuff gets the job done), that is a great way to break bolts. I have a huge Roush quick jack and I just use the handle, works wonders .

As for the cutting of the bump stops... not only can you cut them without modifying the dust boot, odds are you should do it regardless of your spring set up. As shown in my sig, I have a set of Swifts which give a reasonably modest drop in height, yet still require you to cut the stops. With a band saw and some sand paper its a pretty easy job...

I have a couple questions. If i drop my 2009 lancer 1.2 inch in the front and 0.8 inch in the rear, will i need to replace the struts? Also, will doing this void the warranty? If yes, will it void the entire warranty or just anything to do with suspension?

It will put more stress on your struts which will make them go faster... but you will not need to replace them right away.

This will only void the warranty if the springs cause the problem, e.g. if you blow your struts warranty will not cover.

It would be very nice for new beginner if there's an arrow in the pictures pointing on which one to remove, loosen, pull etc , other than that great DIY.
