Tips on how to resale my 2008 Lancer back to the Dealership

Ok so I'm going to be leaving the country and unfortunetly I have to sale my 08 lancer. As you can see from my signature I've put many mods on it. I'm planning on removing as many as I can before going to the dealership and asking him for a price quote. The only thing I cannot remove myself are the lowering springs and the bodywork which will have to stay on the car since its drilled to the original body except for the rear lip spoiler. Now my question is should I pay somebody to remove the springs and then take it to the dealership or should I just go there with the springs on and see if he minds. I'm pretty sure it won't be a good idea to let them know i've modified the car.
Any other tips on how I could get a decent price from them would be appreciated. Oh and if anybody is interested in my mods PM me.

SELL AS MUCH OF THE AFTERMARKET STUFF AS YOU CAN. Stock looking sells...the bodykit is gonna kill the resale value. Maybe find if a local with the same color wants to swap stock parts for your aftermarket.

Good luck

Depends on the dealership, but mine here for exemple could buy it, it's just that he won't pay you for the mod, and will deduce the stock part from it since he need to put back stock one in order to sell the car again.
So you better ask your dealer what he plan to do with this, but in for exemple if you still have your stock parts install them and resell your mod. But really depends on your dealership.

Damn. I actually had to drill into the body to install the body parts. Looking for somebody else to swap would be ok with the front bumper but not really for the side extensions. That would be too much of a hassle to remove. I'm not even sure how I would remove it but anyway that would kind of be a problem.

My car is flawless with 5000 miles on it, bought it in june 2007. What would be a reasonable amount to expect from the dealer. Am I in a position to be negotiating with them if they give me a bad deal?

Also I painted the fake carbon fiber looking parts in the interior to match the car, the ones under the radio and on both of the front doors. I guess I should try swaping these out with somebody else right?

you're always in a position to negotiate.. i mean.. it IS your car...

If you can... try to sell it privately as you'll get more money for it that way.

If you're planning to part out.. i might be interested in that front tower strut bar if the price isn't too steep

DO you have any pictures of you car? I see a decent amount of mods in your sig and am really interested in to white interior....

like stefen said, try to sell at a private, first you're gonna get a better price, and second you probably gonna get some money for your mods instead of needing to remove it.
Go see your dealer, see how much he gives you and why, after that you probably gonna get a better price from private.

Yea that's what I thought. The dealer wanted to charge me more money to add the bodykit in the first place (obviously), so he will charge the next owner more money cuz of the kit. There's no reason for him to replace it with an ES part since he'll end up losing money in my opinion.
But anyway i'm gonna end up selling my car to my brother I think. 12,000 bucks. Kind of cheap but oh well, we're family hahaha.
