I need help removing a pipe
I need help removing a pipe
I was wondering if anybody knew how to remove the pipe pictured below, it is circled in green. I'm not sure what the pipe is for (coolant pipe?), but I have a small leak on the right side (looking at the picture) of the pipe. I wanted to take it out to see if there was a broken gasket or seal. It would be awesome if someone could help me out.
I got this picture from TheShortBus' turbo build thread.

You need to remove the thermostat housing on the right side of the engine to remove the water pipe. The leak is coming from a bad o-ring. This is how the water pipe seals into the thermostat housing. So make sure you've got a replacement before removing it.
Thanks for the advice. I'll make sure to buy an O-ring first, but how exactly do I remove the housing, like what bolts do I take out and what part do I have to remove first. It looks a bit confusing on what has to come off in order for me to get to the pipe. Do I need to fully drain my coolant before removing the pipe? Pictures would be helpful.
