Im wanting to get some fog lights for my car and was wondering if any one has these can you tell me if they function like the factory lights or do you have to press the button every time you want them to come on.

also I can get the factory lights for $237 but i heard that after you install them you have to take it to the dealership and have them program the computer so that they will come on. anyone know if that is true or what.

 

Depends on who does the install. I checked the link, they look decent and nice price. Whoever u get to do the install can have them come on when ur regular headlights come on. The fogs are suppose to go off when the high beams come on or at least that's how it is in Maryland. Don't know anything about the program crap and it sounds like crap, but I don't know.

BTW: Big difference on the price too.

you should go to the dealership and ask them about it so it dosnt cause a problem later on

 

this kit is fine, ive installed about 2 of these. looks like OEM.
you do have to push the button for them to come on, but wen then come with the car u have to turn the switch anyways, u could always wire them to ur headlights

 

These look pretty good, the switch should fit fine in the console on the left of the steering wheel...let us know if they work great if you do get a pair

I might be dumb, but does this uses the same bulbs as the OEM fogs?
