auto lock on drive
I was just looking into this same feature. It is on page 3-56 of the manual. It is an option within the "Mitsubishi Multi-Communication System." Otherwise to activate the auto unlock it says contact a dealership.
I'm hoping since they have an option to auto unlock when the car goes into park, they should be able to program it to lock the doors when it leaves park. I'm going to contact my dealer some time this week and figure it out.

With the MMCS there's an option in there somewhere that allows you to turn on the auto unlock when it goes into P. I have it turned on, but what I find hilarious is that there's absolutely no option for auto locking the doors when it goes out of park, or has motion or something like that.
you can unlock when it goes to P, that's programable, and not intresting, what would be interesting is lock on drive, it makes more sense as I always forget to lock the car after I get in and drive!

I brought my car to the Mitsubishi dealership for it's 6 month maintenance and a warranty repair on my interior map light. While I was there I asked the mechanic about the auto-lock and auto-unlock.
First off they were confused and thought my car had that feature enabled and I wanted it off.
After explaining it again they said no Mitsubishi car has ever had the auto-lock feature except the Diamante.
I then mentioned I know that the manual says that you can program it to auto-unlock when it goes into park, they looked even more confused.
The short answer, it's not possible without a 3rd party alarm system.
