new idea for the grill, intresting project

dont know if some of you remember it, but more then a year ago i posted here on a thread about grills a picture of my car done in photoshop with a project i had for my grill, never got around to do it, and now i might be selling my car for an investment, so i thought i would post it here again with all the details and maybe someone would like it and carry on with it, id really love to see it done for real.
So this is what i was thinking, a wire mesh grill, complete, i was looking into it and it actually isnt that hard or expensive to do, whats required is to cut the center part of the bumper or center beam(what everyone paints black to disguise), then youll need the stainless steel wire mesh, the best way of doing this is to make a wire frome for it with the exact shape of the grill, weld it to the mesh and then cut it right to the edge, then before installing the mesh you need to paint everything black, including the styrofoam in the center.
you can buy the mesh, and everything else seems pretty easy, just maybe time consuming, if you can get or do a good fiberglass job, then you can work on the edges to make the grill deeper, which could make it look even better.
if anyone ever does this or has seen it, please post pics, really would like to see them, and if i dont sell my car, ill try to do it and will post the pics

attachments:
1-the first pic is of my car in photoshop, to get an idea how it would look (this is the pic a posted a year ago) them im including some pics i have found durring all my research and thinking about doing this project
2- second pic, is the grill for a chrysler 300 i found in a page where they sell this type of mesh, it could be possible that if you send on of this guys the template of the grill they can sell it to you already cut, welded, and painted.
3-4- the audi pics, the black A6 is a 2009model, the silver A6 is a 2008model, notice how the old audi had the grill like our lancers(you know, painted bumper to make it look as if it was complete but its just fake, just the looks), the new version for the 09 model has a complete grill, looks classier i think, notice the center styrofoam still there but painted black. the r8 is also a good example as to how good this could look if done correctly, which is the numb 5 pic im attaching.

it is evident that like audi with this new metro poject, the next step for the mitsubishi design is the full grill instead of simulating it with the painted bumper, you can tell in their concepts and also the Racing Lancer for Dakar has the complete front grill

Someone has actually done something like this already. They cut out the middle section of the front bumper and replaced with all black mesh. Looked ok, but not great...

^^ Did the vinyl punch through on only one of your holes in the front bumper?? Is that why there is only one. Cause if so, I had the same thing happen to mine. Same hole too, so I punched in the other one cause I'm OCD like that lol. Just pissed me off that I did not have a say before they drilled my bumper. (Since you need the front plate in NJ and that is where I got it.)
As for the OP, I dunno if you could sport that bumper style without something surrounding it IMO. Just doesn't work right with the body style in your photoshop pic. However, this is just my opinion on that. I do like that audi grills and I did black out my bumper for that same affect. Would be cool to see if someone did do it really well.
