anyone know if an '03 lancer trunk will fit on an '05 lancer?

 

nevermind. that was a dumb question.

 

with that said, does anyone know HOW to make an '03 trunk fit onto an '05? i know it can be done, i've seen it.

 

y would you want to? you could go to a salvage yard and save yourself the time and money in doing so. the 04-06 lancer trunks on the back are more curved in for the taillight assembly and also curved down a bit more on the bumper assembly. you would be doing some major sanding to get it to fit plus not to mention but then to have the enitre trunk resprayed and cleared.

that almost looks like a 9 trunk.

i have an 8 trunk on my lancer and its strait on the bottom where that is more curved, and kinda resembles more of the 9 rear end

 

i donno, man, the evo VIII trunk and the evo IX trunk look the same to me...

hmm i thought it had a litle more roundness to it. o well

as for that now that i get looking at it, it mite be a cedia trunk, cuz that aint no american licence plate....

nope, cedia trunk lid is the same...

maybe this was some kinda custom-made trunk. i donno, man, but it looks nice either way.
