hey there, i am new to the forum and i already seached around if there was a thread like this.
i was wondering if anyone knew where to get a 3rd brake light unit for the inside of the car on the rear window, not the one on the spoiler, i am going to change the spoiler to something better and i need a new 3rd brake light so insurance won't hassle me if i get rear ended hahaha. or should i just get it from the dealership , and they said $110 Canadian for the unit, is that a good deal?

 

if you can find one off a evo 8/9 it will work or u can get a led one and just wire it in the the connector.. its alredy underneath the rear deck if u look inside the trunk underneath u will see the connection

 

How can the plastic assembly be removed though? I'm assuming through the trunk; I would really like to clean that portion of the rear window that I can't get to because of the brake light assembly.
