i got issues with my ateering wheel

wuts up guys... well to start i bought a cheap racing steering wheel for my 06 lancer es and managed to put it with no problems, but now the horn doesn't work.... so i tried it yesterday to connect some wires with the button on steering wheel and worked but then when i started the car my whole dashboard didn't turn on and neither did my blinkers.... so i realized that i blew a fuse so i replaced it and started again and blew it again...
so now my question is can anyone help me to figure out how to make my stupid horn work since inspection is around the corner??????

Need some more info bro. Brand and model of steering wheel, Purchase place might even help, I assume no instructions given with it? Pics of any and all connections the steering wheel has?

well the brand of steering wheel i have no clue, but on the steering wheel there is a button with two cable entries, so i connected a red cable with a green with yellow that were in the stock connection of the stock steering wheel.... so the horn worked when those two cable make contact but then when i start the car the whole dash board did not work... so i realize that i blew a fuse, so i replaced it but then blew it again.... and thats where im at right now????

Dunno whats up there man. Without being there not even sure what I could suggest other than pulling you steering wheel apart if you can to see how the wires are routed in it.

If the fuse keeps blowing everytime you replace it, it sounds like the wires are either not grounded properly or an exposed wire is shorting out and blowing the fuse. I would recheck your connections and double check any exposed surfaces.

Hope this helps!

well i just got working on it again yesterday since to much work and all crazy with school and everything thats why i didnt log in, but i just finished working on it yesterday and i figured it out....
i just needed to ground the red wire which is hot, and thats it.
first i touched every wire to ground to see which one made sound and only red made it and now all the gauges work without burning anything
thanks guys for giving some advice so it was like you said
