cold air intake on automatic?

cold air intake on automatic?

i have been looking all over but all the companies make cold air intake for manual only, does anyone know where i can find one for the automatic? if i could have bought a manual oz i would have but sadly my wife also drives the car and refused to learn to drive a manual lol.

Sorry Man,
No one makes one for an auto.
The trans is too big and in the way to route outside the motor bay.

A few people have made custom ones with piping and filters.
But these are a little pain to figure out how to make.

If I where you, I'd just get a short ram air intake and call it a day.
The power/gas mileage difference between the two is very VERY little.

Plus if you have a cold air intake, you NEED a air bypass valve to keep from sucking water into your motor and killing it.
These are like $50.

thanks yeah i figure i will, but question? when i decide to turbo the car will i need to custom bend the intercooler piping? will the rrm or tsi kits intercooler piping get in the way of the auto tranny or will i need to just custom bend my own? just wondering because if a cold air gets in the way i would figure the intercooler piping leading all the way to the front of the motor would too.
